 MS Word is a short term of Microsoft word. Microsoft word is basically for designing the document. Almost all the tools are crucial to make the document more formal but here we will discuss the basic tool in MS Word.

TEXT FONT AND SIZE:

    Text font can be changed by first highlighting the paragraph that you want to change. Then, click on the drop-down button. Select the text font you want. Further, you can see the selected font is Times New Roman which is the most formal writing pattern.

Similarly, for font size you’ve to highlight the paragraph and then click the font size box (adjacent to the text font) on the top.

BOLD:

    This icon is used to bold the text style. To get this tool highlight the paragraph and then click on Bold icon which is denoted by ‘B’.

ITALIC:

    This icon is used to italicize the text style. It is a kind of style in which characters are slant upward to the right. Highlight the paragraph and then click on the icon Italic which is denoted by ‘I’

UNDERLINE:

 To underline the text we prefer this icon. To get this icon first highlight the paragraph then click on the ‘U’ button.

LEFT ALIGNMENT:

    Left alignment meaning to align the paragraph with left margin. However, it is commonly used in documentation. For this highlight the paragraph you want and click on the left top alignment button which is positioned in the Home tab.

CENTER ALIGNMENT:

    Center alignment meaning to align the paragraph in the mid of the page. However, it is used in designing cover letter, title page and sometimes quoted words. For this highlight the paragraph you want to center and click on the top center alignment button which is positioned in the Home tab.

RIGHT ALIGNMENT:

    Right alignment meaning to align the paragraph with right margin. For this highlight the paragraph you want to align right and click on the top right alignment button which is positioned in the Home tab.

JUSTIFY ALIGNMENT:

    Justify alignment meaning to justify the paragraph. However, this icon is used in formal content and gives more polished look as a result. For this highlight the paragraph you want to justify and click on the top alignment button in the horizontal alignment box which is positioned in the Home tab.

SHORT CUT KEYS IN EXCEL

When it comes to make table, data sheet, pie chart and graphs we prefer Microsoft Excel. Therefore, another name of excel is worksheet. By inserting formula and short cut keys we can easily navigate the data. HOW TO CREATE MARK SHEET?

  Microsoft Excel is a tool to generate mark sheet. Mark sheet represents the students' data in tabular form. It reveals the student’s roll number, their name along with the marks they obtained. In today’s blog we will construct marksheet. Let’s assume five students are enrolled in three subjects- English, Mathematics and Computer. Firstly, we have to create seven columns and six rows. The seven columns include- Roll no., English, Mathematics, Computer, Marks Obtained, Percentage and Grades.                                  OBTAINED MARKS:  Add up all the subjects marks of an individual.
